Yes. Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight can damage the eKO Series.

Because eKO mats are made from natural rubber, they will naturally age and oxidize over time. Direct sunlight and excessive heat can accelerate this process, causing the rubber to dry out more quickly and potentially affecting the mat's appearance, grip, and overall performance.

Once natural rubber has significantly oxidized and dried out, it cannot be fully restored to its original condition. For this reason, we recommend storing your mat in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight whenever possible.
