Why Am I Slipping on My GRP HOT YOGA Mat?Updated an hour ago

The GRP Hot Yoga Mat features a moisture-responsive surface that is designed to provide more grip as moisture builds during practice. If you find yourself slipping, especially at the start of class before you've begun to perspire, try lightly misting the surface of the mat with water before practice to activate the grip.

Proper mat care is also essential to maintaining the performance and traction of your GRP mat. We recommend cleaning your mat regularly with Yoga Mat Wash & Refresh to help keep the surface clean and free of buildup that could affect grip.

After each practice, allow your mat to dry completely before rolling and storing it. For best results, hang the mat to air dry and store it in a cool, dry place when not in use.

Regular cleaning, proper drying, and appropriate storage can help ensure your GRP® mat continues to perform as intended in both heated and high-perspiration practices.
