If your PRO Series mat has become noticeably firmer over time, it may be related to the cleaning products used on the mat. Detergents and other non-recommended cleaning solutions can gradually alter the characteristics of the PVC surface. Repeated exposure to some cleaning chemicals may cause the surface to harden, potentially reducing both cushioning and grip.

To help maintain the performance and longevity of your mat, we recommend following the guidance in our Mat Care Guide and using only Manduka-approved cleaning products.

Please note that homemade cleaning solutions, studio-provided cleaners, and other non-Manduka products have not been tested for use on PRO Series mats. The use of unapproved cleaning products may affect mat performance and can void the Lifetime Guarantee.
