Because the eKO Series is made from natural rubber, regular care helps preserve its appearance and performance over time.
For day-to-day cleaning, use Manduka Yoga Mat Wash & Refresh or wipe the surface with a clean, damp cloth after practice. Allow the mat to air dry completely before rolling or storing.
To help maintain the performance of the natural rubber, we recommend applying Manduka Natural Rubber Yoga Mat Restore approximately once a month. Apply a generous amount across the entire surface, paying special attention to any areas of discoloration. Allow the product to sit for 5 minutes, then gently wipe the mat dry with a clean cloth before use or storage. Regular use of Yoga Mat Restore helps reverse oxidation, restore luster, and support the long-term performance of natural rubber.
Because natural rubber is sensitive to environmental conditions, store your mat in a cool, dry place and avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, which can dry the material over time and affect its appearance and performance.
To protect your mat, we do not recommend:
- Soaking or submerging the mat in water
- Cleaning with a garden hose, shower, bathtub, or washing machine
- Using a vacuum cleaner
- Using soaps or harsh cleaning products
